This event will feature best practices on affordable housing development and explore potential strategies for THP and its partners to develop affordable housing in and around Taos.

Taos Housing Partnership (THP) is a nonprofit organization that is committed to taking meaningful action to develop housing in and around Taos. Its board is comprised of community leaders from public and private sectors who are dedicated to solving Taos’ housing challenges. THP’s mission is to create equitable housing opportunities for our community while preserving our culture, promoting financial literacy, and protecting our environment.

THP values transparency and community engagement at every stage of housing development. Decisions made by THP will be guided by public input and proactive outreach efforts to ensure that everyone has a voice at the table. We will also ensure that new housing development utilizes local labor, materials and companies whenever feasible, leading to a positive impact on the local economy.
